Loredana Manasia, associate professor at the University POLITEHNICA of Bucharest (UPB), Department of Teacher Education and Social Sciences, presented the SL4DC project at the 2026 European Conference on Educational Research (ECER) in Tampere, Finland.
Her presentation 'The Togetherness Box: A Journey Through Relations and Meaning' introduced particpants to arts-based approaches in education.
The Togetherness Box is an experiential, arts-based workshop that explores how togetherness is created through meaningful objects, personal stories, dialogue, and collective meaning-making. Participants share an object connected to an important relationship, value, challenge, or moment of joy, then use these objects to build the Togetherness Hopscotch—a collaborative installation reflecting their shared understanding of what it means to be together.
