5.1 Brevo (newsletter)

We use Brevo (Sendinblue SAS, Paris, France) to manage our newsletter mailing list and to send newsletters. Brevo acts as a data processor under a Data Processing Agreement with UCSIA vzw. 5.2 Google Analytics (if activated)

If Google Analytics is enabled on this website, Google Ireland Limited (Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland) will process technical usage data on our behalf. Google Analytics uses cookies to collect anonymous statistics about website usage. We have enabled IP anonymisation to ensure that IP addresses are truncated before being processed. Google acts as a data processor under Google's Terms of Service and Data Processing Amendment. This processing only takes place if you have given your consent via the cookie consent tool. 5.4 Hosting provider

Our website is hosted by a third-party hosting provider. Personal data may be processed on the hosting provider's servers as part of normal website operation.

6. International Data Transfers

All partner organisations involved in the SL4DC project are located within the European Economic Area (EEA) and are therefore subject to GDPR.

Brevo and Complianz are companies operating within the EEA. If Google Analytics is activated, Google LLC is a US-based company; however, data is processed under Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) approved by the European Commission, providing an adequate level of data protection.

We do not transfer your personal data to countries outside the EEA except as described above.

7. Data Retention

Newsletter subscribers: Your data is retained for as long as you remain subscribed. Upon unsubscribing, your data will be deleted from our mailing list within 30 days.

Contact form submissions: Correspondence is retained for as long as necessary to handle your request, and for a maximum of 3 years thereafter for documentation purposes.

Analytics data: If Google Analytics is active, data is retained for 26 months, after which it is automatically deleted.

Cookie preferences: Your cookie consent preferences are stored for 12 months, after which you will be asked to confirm your preferences again.

Under the GDPR, you have the following rights with respect to your personal data:

  • Right of access (Art. 15 GDPR): You may request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
